Arman Suciyan
He was born in İstanbul in 1972.During his summer brakes he worked as part time goldsmiths apprentice in a workshop , located in İstanbul 's historical Covered Bazaar. 1988 he was accepted by Misak Toros who was the fourth generation representative of a family with a long standing jewellery making and designing history. At his workshop he was introduced to traditional skills of fine jewellery making and designing . He was also encouraged by his masters to improve his talent in sculpting by carving and modelling wax for figurative designs.
After many years at bench to get a more academical insight he applied Kent Institute of art and Design's Higher national diploma course in jewellery design at Rochester U.K. He got accepted in 1994 in his first year he started a work release at Stephen Webster's workshop. After graduation he joined his small team of specialist craftsmen as a full time goldsmith and a wax modeller.
Over ten years of working with Stephen Webster he specialized carving and finishing some of company's elaborate figurative pieces.
He was given awards by Goldsmiths craft and design council for his work.
